FARGO

I've been recording it and watching it the next day, so I haven't seen yesterday's episode yet. There are too freaking many commercials.

It is a very, very good show.

I'm going to go into series-deprivation mode pretty soon. "Gotham" is gone for the season, as is "The Blacklist." Meanwhile, "Game of Thrones," "Turn," "The Americans" and "House of Cards" aren't going to be back for awhile.

I'm following "The Knick" and "The Walking Dead" and catching up on "Blue Bloods." Also tread-watching "Better Call Saul," but that won't last long because each session uses up two episodes.

I recorded as well but usually 20 minutes in you can start over and it works perfect.Homeland will be over Sunday as well will be a long dry spell for me until The Americans and House of Cards.

Best show I have seen in 2015.Great story telling and wonderful ensemble cast.
Mike Milligan character was fantastic.

I thought they had no shot to come close to season 1, but I was wrong.

Some of the best work Ted Danson has ever done.

I thought the final show was a dud. I wonder if the next show will feature the Indian. That being said to me the second season was worse than the first one

OK, watched the final show ..... was that really the final show? Very disappointing.

Finale was very disappointing. I bet there was somebody that has watched this whole season never realizing the little girl is Molly from Season 1 until they do the mom's dream sequence.

I also didn't pick up on the new identity of Hanzee until reading about the finale online. Season 3 is a go, but won't be out until 2017.

**Spoiler for those who haven't watched**

When you see the two kids playing catch at the baseball field, they get into an argument and they use sign language to communicate. Shortly after you see Hanzee sitting in the bleachers and that old man comes along to give him his new identity. When Hanzee looks at the social security card, the name reads Moses Tripoli. Afterwards Hanzee says, "Kill or be killed" and walks towards the two kids who were being bullied by two older kids. Hanzee presumably saves the two younger kids who were getting picked on.

Doesn't seem like much. But if you think back to Season 1, once Lorne Malvo (Billy Bob) kills Sam Hess (guy who picked on Lester), the mob boss in Fargo (Mr. Tripoli/Hanzee) sends Mr. Numbers and Mr. Wrench (The two guys who communicated with each other in sign language because Mr. Wrench was def...also the two kids from the baseball field that Hanzee saves) to investigate what happened. That's when they run into Malvo and the shootout in the street happens. Malvo asks Mr. Numbers who sent him and he tells him Fargo did, right before Malvo kills him. In retaliation, Malvo goes and shoots up the whole Fargo Mob.

The seasons tie together not only through Lou Solverson and Molly Solverson, but also through the fact that Lorne Malvo is the one who kills Mr. Tripoli/Hanzee.

I agree the Season 2 finale was a total dud. I think they were too worried about tying all the loose ends, instead of sticking to what made the show great. Some of the Coen Brothers' movies end with no real conclusion. The biggest disappointment to me was Mulligans fate. Such an awesome character the whole season only to get told he's essentially working a 9-5 in a small office.

Totally forgot about the deaf hit man from season 1. Awesome stuff.
Finale was a bit of a let down but it was going to be tough to wrap up perfectly no matter what.
I watched the finale a second time and liked it even more.

Noah Hawley (the show's creator/producer) said season 3 will be set in the winter again a few years after season 1 ends. So, they will film it next winter and air it in 2017. Plus, he has other TV projects going on in the mean time.

He also said the surviving main characters from season 1 will not be regular cast members for season 3, though some could have key guest spots.

Fargo has taken a page from Game of Thrones; the big action/thriller episode during the next to last episode and the finale just whets your appetite for next season with a lot of boring dialogue/lamenting.

FWIW, the Dexter series finale was just wrong. Hell, the entire last season was just wrong. (SPOILERS) That show should have ended when Rita met her demise at the hand of Trinity and Dexter got his revenge. Dexter being a daddy was wrong on so many levels.

RE: Dexter....yeah, they had too many different personality changes for the sister. And the end almost promised there would be another series.

As for "Fargo," I was extremely surprised they didn't show Lou getting the injury that forced him to retire from law enforcement.
