Farmers feeling climate change pain

This has intermittently been a problem forever, it seems. But, ask insurance companies if they think climate change is real. They do and are conducting their business as such.
Record flood in April. Record drought in September. Of the same year.

And this is EXACTLY what climate scientists predicted.

Yet a mass majority of Iowa farmers will dutifully vote for climate change deniers this November. Frankly pretty hard for me to gin up sympathy for their plight. They are self-sabotagers.

You won't have to if republicans keep control of Congress and continue the subsidies.

And so few people acknowledge that water is the most important thing for our survival.

Water wars still go on. We should forgo the manicured lawns and plant what helps the land.

I prefer “saboteurs” cause it sounds cooler.

This is a documentary about my farmer of many years.

I look for farmers like this.

The US Department of Defense is paying attention as well. Many bases and facilities are under threat due to the new weather norms. Naval facilities may be the most threatened, but the list is long. I see you, Parris Island.

It’s always funny watching Marxist progressives trying to control the weather. They’re nothing more than fear mongers.

The last lock and dam on the Mississippi is at St. Louis. The river falls 400 feet from St. Paul to St. Louis, then another 400 feet out to the sea. It's too flat below StL to effectively build dams, so all they can do is dredge the channel deeper. My buddy's kid was like an EMT on a dredge barge located near Cairo, Illinois. He honed most of his first aid skills when the crews returned to the barge on Saturday night from a night on the town, drinking and fighting. He's in Chicago now picking up victims of drive bys, etc..

I don’t think so. He’s a solo moron as near as I can tell. Likely too dumb to figure out how to create multiple handles.
You’re a fvcking hypocritical leech. Posting all of this Marxist nonsense on here. Then you’re bragging about taking little flick on all these vacations. You’re a self absorbed jackass. It’s okay for you to have money in what you didn’t earn but if a Republican has money they’re the scum of the earth according you. In reality you are the biggest piece of shit in the world. Quit telling people how to live their lives when you haven’t done anything with yours. Except being a leech to society.

future wars will be over natural resources
Other than oil I mean.....

The latest climate projections I've seen has Iowa with a climate similar to Kansas by 2050, with 50+ days each summer over 95 degrees.

Need to follow the liberal state leads and start building nuclear reactors. Never mind there are none.

Need to stop buying trucks and SUV. Nobody is doing that.

Need to stop flying for pleasure. Nobody is doing that.

Need to stop buying vehicles that burn gas for the sole purpose of pleasure. Nobody is doing that.

Need to stop travel via carbon vehicles. Nobody is doing that.

Need to scream you care more. That is something we can all get behind.

OP subtle bragging about going to Hawaii in a "climate change" spewing petroleum fueled jet.

Farmers growing food are the bad guys.

Keep up the hypocrisy.

Just the facts.....

You seem mad.

Maybe rub one out and come back when you’re re-set.

They'll also vote for those who will shut down the gub'mint and don't want to fund the Corps of Engineers who do all of the necessary dredging.

They are spending billions to keep Norfolk viable as a port. If you Google lurk around many US bases you will see fields of solar panels. The US military is woke about climate change.

Suck it, hit. What a non entity.

His jealousy is hilarious.

Miserable loser with a loser life.

It’s quite sad, to be honest.
The bot is pretty hateful in most posts. I would say it should be tweaked, but rather, I hope it gets cancelled.
It is a nasty persona.

Honest question - what do insurance companies lose by raising premiums in the name of climate change?

- If catastrophes happen, they’re prepared
- If not much happens, they bank more

Competition? A insurance company that doesn't foresee increased catastrophes can afford to resist raising premiums because they do not anticipate needing to pay out increased claims. Since they don't need to raise their prices, they can attract more rational customers.

This is where state regulators should chime in... But, since the "regulators" are in bed with the insurers... well, the insurers get to PIITB of consumers.

Water wars still go on. We should forgo the manicured lawns and plant what helps the land.
We should continue our quest for population 400,000,000 by the Dims, because every 10 cent brain from central america, deserves fresh, cool, clear drinking water more than US citizens!!

My understanding is the earth has the same amount of water all the time.

You may not like where the water is currently situated but the water is all still here.

Desalination via nuclear seems obvious for those in need. Things are not bad enough to do it.

Curious, when you say "Marxist nonsense", what does that mean to you? What is Marxist (to you) and how does that relate to an article about the weather?
