I’ll buy that. Difference to me would be that the people spending it on sports at least know that the product they are paying for is what it’s worth to them. All of those people who swore those shoes were great, all took refunds when they found out they were duped. Because they were proven to not have a goddamned clue.

The fact that they were $600 is why they bought them. Not because they were nice.

I’m sure everybody who spent 1,000 dollars on tickets to the rose bowl in 2015 and could have gotten in for 20.00 from scalpers outside the stadium just wanted to spend the extra because they like it. People get duped in sports all the time.
