FDU to IONA

FDU's coach, Truro native, has taken the IONA job since Rick P took St John's position since they fired Mike Anderson. IA can face SJ in a future Big10/Big East match up challenge or tourny.

I don't know if IONA is a good move, should have waited for a Midmajor or major to open up.... Thoughts?

So Iona is not mid-major or major? Then how did they get into the dance. ?. Once upon a time Iona, St. Bona, LaSalle, etc. were big names in college b-ball. Catholic colleges that didn't worry about having football. Once there was some news (bad?)about Iona and an Iowa sports reporter misread it as "Iowa." Or maybe a misprint. Repeatedly asked Lute about it. Lute was not happy, as he had to keep , in the reporter's eyes, denying that it happened. It had, but to Iona, not Iowa.
