Come on, why settle for a fifth seed. Iowa hasn't lost yet, still plenty of time to snag that number one seed, All Iowa needs is 4 more Murrays.....

What a pointless exercise.
It's November.

Less than half a dozen games in...LOL.

You are correct sir, thought the same thing. After the BIG regular season and tournament is played, then and only then does it mean anything.

So, none of you must care that we are ranked #25 in the country, correct?

After all, according to theses posters' logic, it's only November and being ranked in the Top 25 only matters in March and March only.

JFC. It's amazing how posters can take something positive and attempt to turn it into something negative.

For those of us who can think logically, we know that being ranked in the top 25 matters. Recruits notice. And being considered a top five seed in the NCAA tournament matters as well. Again, people, and most importantly, recruits, notice.

Fran has Iowa on the map. And that's a good thing.

In a dream world Iowa is a six seed. Too many are drinking the Kool-Aid

Eh, people generally overestimate just how good the resumes of teams in the NCAA tournament are. Last year LSU got a 6 seed with 12 loses, .500 in conference play, and was 5-10 vs Q1 opponents.
Iowa is currently 1-1 v Q1 opponents in KenPom. That's a way better starting place than Iowa was in last season.

Nice, but I'd say get back to me when we're at least half way through the conference season before starting to talk realistically about tournament seed. Even then, things can still change a lot in the final 10+ games, but at least then we'd have a sizable sample of games to base this on.

This early, it's really hard to know for sure who's for real, and who the pretenders are.

It's just interesting to see how the team is perceived by the national media
Well unfortunately they’ve seen the one and done NCAA’s over the years and that sticks with the outside media yearly. May not be fair but until IOWA takes the next step it is what it is.

Interesting that for the last hour, in the duplicate thread, @Bro D has been posting the same message and then deletes it and posts it again, just to keep the duplicate thread at the top

the message he posts, deletes, and posts again is this: Keep up the great work LaQuinta!

There are too many trolls on this site, that's for sure

Jerry Palm has been doing bracket predictions for over 20 years for CBS.

He did a bracket on Nov 3 (hasn't done one since).

At that time, he had Iowa as an 11 seed.
