I know this is a very, very limited sample, but so far so good..

Kris Murray on a per 40 basis through his first 3 games:
#1 Rebounds (Rebraca #2, Keegan #3)
#2 Points scored (Keegan #1)
#2 Blocked Shots (Keegan #1)
#2 EFG% at 71% (Rebraca #1, Keegan #3)
#3 3 Pt FG% at 55% (Rebraca #1, Toussaint #2)

Call me a fan. I hope he gets the minutes he and the team need to figure out where he belongs in the rotation.

Yeah he could be quite good. When you are 6-8, can move, understand how to play, good athlete and can shoot that is a very good combination.

Those three guys can make life unpleasant for opponents. Height, quickness, length, athleticism, scoring ability.

I like it.
Defensive rebounding would be the issue with that frontcourt but I think it'd be an issue with Rebraca/Ogundele/Mulvey any way.
So I'd rather put those three out there to wreak havoc everywhere else on the court.

I think you may be under-valuing Rebraca a bit. I watched him play in person in a couple Summit League games last year and came away impressed. So far, it feels like he hasn't really settled in at this level yet. I beleive he will be a solid low post defender/rebounder and add more scoring as the season progresses.

No doubt I'm down on him more than most, & I may be wrong. I don't like when centers are not rim protectors/rim runners & I don't see him being one. Olaseni (as a senior) is probably my favorite center Fran has had, he was in the mold of Tyson Chandler/DeAndre Jordan/Clint Capela. All biased of course.

Hard for anyone who has only seen him play this year to imagine him helping vs b1g bigs

With how frustrating the Hawks three centers will be this season, I'd like to see a frontline of P. McCaffery/Murray/Murray.
So you'd take this over Rebraca who is second in rebounding and number one in effective field percentage as it stands today? Patrick hasn't really shown himself to be a strong rebounder, his defense so far has been lackluster, and his effective field goal percentage is one of the lowest on the team. Maybe his ankles have still been bothering him.

Rebraca isn't spectacular but he's been steady and efficient. I could see a front line of him and the Murrays being very effective.

Yeah especially that one game where P. McCaffery only had one board and sat the final 10 minutes. I'm aware of Rebraca's rebounding numbers so far but just watching the first four games (plus exhibition game) I don't trust it against legit centers, which I know is only a select few in the B1G. I think he is slow from side to side, doesn't anticipate where the ball will come off the rim, and can't jump over a piece of paper. If the C is not rebounding, you might as well go small and win elsewhere on the court.

I know I'm in the minority on this and may very well be wrong. We'll see what the B1G brings.

It might just be something about lefties, but I love watching his shot.

Don’t really like his ball skills if you want to play him on the wing. He’s been a little loose with it a few times when he’s been guarded closely. Still has a ways to go if you’d want him to replace Patrick as a starting wing.

Huh. IMO his handles are at least as good as Patrick's. Patrick has a higher turnover rate. I really haven't seen anything so far that Patrick does better than Kris. Kris looks to be a better shooter, rebounder and defender already.

Respectfully, I disagree on the handles and agree on everything else. His turnover rate is lower because he understands his limitations and doesn’t force things. Everything for Kris has been catch and shoot whether it be around the rim or on the perimeter.

If turnover rate was the determining factor in best dribbler, Sandfort would be the team’s best ball handler.

If you’re going to bench Patrick, it wouldn’t be for Kris. It’d have to be someone else.

Honestly it’s so key to have a guy like this coming off the bench I like the rotation the way it is so long as Fran finds a way to get him 20-24 mins
