My hyvee, and perhaps your hyvee, might be having bourbon tasting. I was able to taste, err do shots, of Elijah Craig, Bulleit, and a couple others that I forget because I'm still partially drunk. They also had Big Grove vodka lemonade, which is meh. All free. Chances are it's there tomorrow.
Exploit err explore your hyvee. You're welcome.

Did OP just get loaded at Hy-Vee liquor department and curbhop back to North Liberty with shopping cart's worth of different whiskeys? Kinda based.
I did get kind of loaded. I didn't not purchase any today.
That being said, I did visit Costco. They have a freaking vat, meaning 4 or so traditional bottles, of Glenmorangie for 76 bucks. I plan on gifting those. No clue how Costco does it but that's a real bargain.

I suspect they're a front for drug distribution operation that launders proceeds through a politically untouchable suburban consumer co-op.

The best buzz I ever experienced was walking the Royal Mile in Edinburg 10 years ago. Lots of “malt shops” along the way and they all offer samples to potential buyers…notice I said “potential buyers”…. I smile when I recall that afternoon in May, in Edinburgh…:)

The only place to get liquor in NC is through Alcohol Beverage Control : 🤬😡

Thanks for the tip. I just did my weekly grocery shopping. Had a round of samples on my way in. When I was leaving, there was a different person doing the samples so I had another round. Left hyvee half hammered 😁

I've yet to check it out but I hear HyVee has a pretty good happy hour. At least the crosspark one.
