I'm sure several will run to Kirk's aid, but I would love to respond to Kirk's testy response about winning 10 games last year. Perhaps he and Brian should not take pay THIS year? Perhaps the athletic department should reimburse season ticket holders for THIS year's games. Perhaps its has been lost with time with him that this is still a business which costs a LOT of money - a large portion mind you goes to HIM. So that is fine that he wants people to remember the past record and hopefully he remembers the money he's been paid but I hope he AND BARTA are ready for the future if season ticket demand and income from donors drop off like the offensive production.
Additionally, there is a part of me that chuckles at Barta. It will be very interesting how Barta handles Ferentz if not only we start winning less but simply putting out a less entertaining product like what we saw from the Lickleiter years in basketball.
