Most years with Ferentz the difference between a 7 win team and a 10 team win is minimal error. We saw that this year. This team could easily have 10 wins if the ball bounces a different way on a couple plays this year. lastbyears team could have easily only won 8 games too. That’s football.

So yes, we can celebrate beating an average Nebraska program that self destructs, but in the games that matter, we’ve been left behind.

West plus the cream puffs in the OOC, but even this year he went up against teams that had decent coaching and talent, and 8-4 was the result

We were literally two losses away against bad to below average big ten football teams from being right on the verge of the playoff. Not to mention the self destruction against Iowa State.

Absolutely, I loved Kirk. But the Brian Ferentz fiasco has changed everything. He put the best interests of his family ahead of the program, fans, team, and school. Absolutely changed everything. Before that he was untouchable.

I appreciate all that KF has done for the program. A lot of fun, great years. But this has been a very disappointing season. With the defensive players we had back, 11-1 was very possible. 10-2 at worst. 8-4 with our schedule is not good. In recent years, Iowa has gotten wins by being the tallest midget. I’m ready for something new. Not saying g fire him, but I hope he walks away.

Next year looks to be brutal. We lose so much on both sides of the ball and we’ve seen next to nothing from underclassmen.

We still have no QB (Sullivan is an injury waiting to happen with his style of play), RBs are ok but are not going to replace KJ production….WR???? TE??? OL has been a failure for years

You don't need five star guys to beat teams in the top 25. Some more 4 stars, particularly on offense, would do just fine.
