It's finalized and I was surprised that this guy accepted the trade. Am I wrong and did I screw myself over?

Leonard Hankerson & Carlos Hyde for Marshawn Lynch and Ahmad Bradshaw.

(He grabbed Bradshaw cause he heard the Colts where working him out and wanted to get him first, but it's become apparent that he's not going to be signed and I just included him in the trade to clear up space on his roster for my 2nd player.)

I'm just going to cut Bradshaw and pick someone off the waiver wire.

The way I look at it is I have Rawls and he did great for me last week but he becomes worthless as soon as Lynch comes back from injury. Seahawks RB's seem to be pretty consistent so being able to start the #1 Seahawks RB every week seems really attractive to me.

Hankerson has been kind of on and off while Hyde has had a couple good games but has been limited in other games thanks to Kaep's ineptitude.

Thoughts?

What's your team name?

Why does that matter?

It's "VU Cru" for the record. (It's the name of the student support section at Valpo)

I didn't really put a ton of thought or anything into it. I'd have just been ok if my team name was team 7 or something like that.

That O-Line tho

Russell Wilson - QB - Seahawks
Russell Wilson is on pace to take just over 70 sacks this season.

Only two quarterbacks in NFL history -- David Carr in 2002 and Randall Cunningham in 1986 -- have taken more than 70 sacks in a season. Wilson's play style always puts him near the top of the sacks taken category, but the Seahawks' offensive line play this season has been atrocious. The Max Unger trade does not look good through five weeks.

Maybe true but over the last 5 weeks the lead back for the Seahawks has scored over 10 points in 3 of 5 of their contests. None of those have been TD dependent either. (For example Rawls had a TD in the last game but if you take away his TD he still clears 10 points)

I think in any contest they don't fall behind in their lead back is gonna get a good number of touches. And since Kam Chancellor is back they probably won't be falling behind.

On the other hand I like Hyde as a player but the 49er's seem to constantly fall far behind too early to be giving him the ball.

The main thing I'm worried about is the Seahawks splitting touches a lot between Rawls and Lynch. Such as noticing that since he's playing well that they give Lynch 10 carries a game and Rawls 10 carries a game instead of just giving one of them 20 carries a game.

I honestly didn't think this guy would go for this trade though.

Hankerson gets a bump with Julio being iffy for this week. But I would assume you could get someone close to him off waivers.

I already have a plan, on my NFL league it has a reserve slot for long term injured players and so I've been hanging onto Brandon Lafell.

All information says he's back for week 7. It's a good thing too because waiver wire for WR's is pretty bare because this league is set up so that the TE spot can also be flexed to a WR. So 4 out of 7 positions (outside of kicker and defense) can be played by a WR.

For this week I'm running with TY Montgomery in my WR/RB flex. Risky play I know but it should be an only 1 week thing.

After trade and Lafell returning my team will look like this. (12 team league) (HC means I'm holding this guy as a handcuff)

QB: Luck - Foles
RB: Forsett - Lynch - Rawls (HC) - J. Allen (HC) - Bell
WR: K. Allen, Fitz, Lafell, Montgomery
TE: Olsen, Gates
K: Crosby
Def: Ravens (I play matchups with defense, Ravens is just what I have now cause they are playing 49ers)

My biggest problem now is both Baltimore and Seattle have week 9 byes which means as it stands now, on week 9 my only active RB will be Bell.

I'm considering trying to trade Gates away to a guy with weak TE's for one of his RB's (Lewis, Gore, Bernard and AP).
