I just want to close this basketball season with a few thoughts.
1. Gonzaga is a heck of a team. No shame at all in losing to them on basically their home court.
2. A huge thank you to the seniors who bought into what Fran was selling and gave us exciting basketball to watch. It had been a long time.
3. I have always believed in Fran. Our program has gotten better every year since he arrived in Iowa City. He has had some recruiting misses, but he can identify talent and we will eventually get those guys we need.
4. Finally, thank you to the coaches for making Iowa basketball fun again. And thanks to the fans on this site. We argue, complain but in the end, we are Hawk fans. Nothing is better.
