Flooding forces the closure of all entrances to Yellowstone National Park, and leaves some people trapped.

This is a pretty bad situation, especially for local residents. Rain totals 400 percent above normal, and record temperatures have created a more rapid snow melt causing the flooding that has washed out several roads into the park, and in the surrounding areas.

you are accurate with the moisture comment, however we have had an incredibly cool spring. We have been well below normal temperatures. I live right on the edge of all of this.
 
Dang. Going to be along time until parts of the park are reopened
