He's predicting Iowa has finalists at 125, 133, and 141 next year with Sorensen being Iowa's 141... Is this a possibility? I thought Sorensen was a good sized 149.

I'm not sure if I can see Sorenson as a 149 pounder, he looked every bit as big as Grothus who we all know was unable to make that cut. I think it will be Sorenson/Grothus at 149/157 respectively next season. 141 is the big ? with the Gross situation still an unknown IMO.

I am holding out hope that Brody takes weight off slowly this summer and mans 141. He would be a beast there.

Gotta be a brain fart on Foley's part. No one has ever discussed Sorensen going to 141--there has been more discussion about Sorensen going to 157.

I also wish Grothus would dedicate himself to 141--and now instead of four weeks before B1G.

Agree 100% on both parts.

I agree, I'd love to see the lineup like this:

125 - Gilman
133 - Clark
141 - Grothus
149 - Sorensen
157 - Cooper/Rhoads
165 - Paddock
174 - Meyer
184 - Brooks
197 - Burak (I don't think there's any thought of redshirting....UNLESS an injury occurs)
285 - Stoll/Bradley (is this the year he joins the team? Is it confirmed he IS going to re-sign with us?)

I believe next year will be Bradley's redshirt year. I haven't seen anything about him changing his plans.

Wouldn't be shocked if Kemerer is good enough right out of the gate that he enters the discussion for the non-Sorensen 149/157 spot

Foley also said that Intermat does the best rankings. If you believe that then I guess you can believe that Iowa has three finalists and Sorensen makes 141.

Sorensen has a much higher probability of being a 157 lber than a 141 lber.

If Sorensen wrestled 141 - could you just imagine? It would be a complete failure if Iowa didn't score 100 points at NCAA's out of these 7 alone:

125 Gilman
133 Clark
141 Sorensen
149 Grothus
174 Meyer
184 Brooks
197 Burak

I think Mr. Foley was liquored up or something along that line.
