In our following the future update, we take a look at how Iowa's commits are doing on the court this season, get up to date on their stats, and much more.

Class of 2016

Tyler Cook had a busy weekend as his Chaminade team played 3 games against a national field in the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions in Springfield, MO. In the first round, Cook had 15 points and 7 rebounds in Chaminade's 67-48 win over Christ the King (New York). Then, on Friday, he finished with 19 points and 6 rebounds in a 66-58 loss to Sierra Canyon (California) in the semifinals. Finally, in the third place game on Saturday, Cook had 13 points and 6 rebounds in a 61-39 win over Rainier Beach (Washington). On the season, Cook is averaging 11.1 points and 6.1 rebounds per game for Chaminade (16-5).

Cordell Pemsl had 21 points and 11 rebounds in a match-up of future Hawkeyes on Tuesday as his Dubuque Wahlert team beat Connor McCaffery and Iowa City West by a score of 76-68. Then, on Friday, Pemsl had 20 points and 14 rebounds, but lost to Dubuque Senior 68-66. For the season, Pemsl is averaging 20.8 points and 9.5 rebounds per game for Wahlert (9-3).

Ryan Kriener scored 18 points and pulled down 14 rebounds in Spirit Lake's 89-38 win over Storm Lake on Friday. Kriener followed that up with a 26 points, 14 rebound effort on Saturday as Spirit Lake beat Okoboji Milford by a score of 65-51. On the season, Kriener is averaging 21.1 points and 12.1 rebounds per game for Spirit Lake (11-2).

Jordan Bohannon was 3/7 from three-point range and scored 18 points in Linn-Mar's 71-60 win over Dubuque Senior on Tuesday. Then, on Friday, Bohannon had 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists in a 77-71 loss to Iowa City West. For the season, Bohannon is averaging 21.7 points per game for Linn-Mar (7-3).

Class of 2017

Connor McCaffery was 5/9 from three-point and finished with 26 points and 5 assists in Iowa City West's 76-68 loss in the previously mentioned game against Cordell Pemsl's Dubuque Wahlert team. McCaffery suffered a concussion late in the game and missed West's next contest, which was the 77-71 win over Bohannon's Linn-Mar squad Friday. For the season, McCaffery is averaging 17.1 points per game for Iowa City West (8-3).

Class of 2018

Joe Wieskamp had a big game on Tuesday with 26 points and 13 rebounds in Muscatine's 64-53 win over Davenport West. But on Friday, Wieskamp was held to only 13 points and 10 rebounds as Muscatine loss to North Scott by a score of 50-43. On the season, Wieskamp is averaging 20.7 points and 8.8 rebounds for Muscatine (7-3).
