Listening to this podcast with TJ Hockenson and George Kittle and they’re talking about playing Northwestern. A few tidbits:
- Iowa always thought they were going to blow NU out, but it was always the hardest game
- “The hardest place to play” is NU at 11:00 AM. Paraphrasing - there’s no fans there but they play the cat growl sound after every play so loudly that you can’t have a conversation on the sideline
- All week before the NU game, our staff plays that cat growl in practice and in the locker room
