We're not particularly pleased with the handshake scuffle, but the actual game was a hard fought battle. I think many iowa fans recognize that Illinois has a tough, talented team this year and we're all looking forward to another exciting game at illinois.

It is so nice feeling the rivalry again. 30 years ago Iowa vs Illinois was a back and forth 12 round fight. Both teams excellent. The Illini have a damn good team and should make noise in March. Kofi needs to be more consistent. When he is on look out. Love Illini depth and overall balance. Personally, 2 of the 3 best (along with Maryland who we beat by 18 and lost by 10) teams in the league played in this game. Your 2 assistants had their 'deuche bag moment' but beyond that your team should like where you're at. This isn't your father's Iowa Basketball. We are stellar late.

The Illini are obviously a tough team. Physically the way they hit the boards should show anyone how tough they are. It was a good win vs. a good team in a great game that got messy in the last 10 seconds. Nobody should let the end of the game and the actions of a few assistant coaches taint what was a very good basketball game.
