We had just pulled up and convoyed to Kuwait to prepare to wash rack the fleet and clean the equipment so it could be shipped back. I don't remember exactly the day we left but within a week or 2 of that skirmish.

Thankfully I did not see any zoo animals while I was there. If they were there they were hiding. I was in almost every square inch of BIAP.

When I got there the insurgency shit hadn't started, so traveling around wasn't to bad.

By July that changed.
