I would ask you to temper those expectations. I am all for cheering hard for your guy and hopefully he pulls it off. I also get why some hardcore Iowa fans really dislike AJ. But, AJ is really good and damn near impossible to score on. If Buchanan can't get the ref on his side, AJ is going to be VERY hard to beat...
Considering his vanity and penchant for strutting and posing, I think that Ferrari would be a natural for the world of bodybuilding.
I once knew someone who went to high school in Pittsburgh with Dave Hawk who, as you may (or may not) remember, was a leading professional bodybuilder in the 1980s and 90s.
Hawk apparently was not much of a wrestler so, if he could do it, AJ could probably pull off that transition with ease.

First off, if you never actually met a person, or at least had some form of direct interaction with them, I admit it is hard for me to understand genuine dislike, let alone pure hate.
With that said, his antics at the Soldier Salute were enough to get me understand why an Iowa fan could feel that way. I have said the fingers in response to a crowd booing you isn’t a big deal to me, but I can see how it would be to others…
