What happened again when Michelle Obama tried to change the way we eat? And there'll be a different outcome if Dr. Fauci tries it? The regions with the highest percentages of obesity also happen to be those that back Trump. Maher might as well have told people, "Hey, don't get old!"
All I'm saying is..............use fire to kill the virus, and shoot those that don't wear masks.

If you start shooting people for not wearing masks, you'll eventually get protests, of course with people saying "what are you gonna do, shoot all of us?"........but everyone there will also be wearing a mask. So problem solved.

I’ve been making the same point all along. Kudos to him for saying it. If you’re fat and don’t like being told you are fat, do something about it. And don’t give me the ‘it’s my genetics crap’. Sure that can be a factor but the biggest genetic factor at play is likely the fact your parents ate like crap and didn’t exercise also. Heck I saw a 400+ lb lady the other day in Home Depot with a kid tagging along about age 3 that was already fat. Don’t give me a genetics story there. Sorry. That what happens when you stuff your face with moon pies, your kid does too.
Even a healthy meal will make you fat if you eat too much of it.

I am a strong advocate of wearing masks.
I also believe, at some level, that "fat shaming" is appropriate.

What cracks me up is they tend to use it to make it seem like death and illness isn’t actually real.

"Fear porn" is cute and generates fun responses. Besides, it's all in jest. I'm a strong proponent of people wearing masks and taking this virus seriously. The biggest issue I have is the selectivity both sides employ when talking about combating the virus.
Our country is in the shape we're in because some people don't want to wear masks and too many are considerably overweight. Libs are a big pusher of the former (as am I) but for some reason get fussy and surly when you bring up the health of Americans.

I'm sitting here at work in my custom dealership logo mask and have not seen a single human, fat or slim, old or young, WITHOUT a mask. Agree with your point on the bipartisan selective outrage.
Fat shaming is very appropriate and there needs to be much more of it. It would resolve a lot of the issues we face in this country. People should be penalized for being obese and requiring more medical care.
Blacks are by far the most obese group. Southern states have a higher percentage of blacks than the population as a whole. Blacks vote 95% for Democrats. Your premise is a failure...
Shirley, there's statistics backing up melanin has a positive correlation with obesity, right?
Cultural diet preferences do exist, as do regional eating habits. (Who outside of Pennsylvania eats scrapple?) But obesity is non-discriminatory and hits everyone.
Or they can read the sign on our door that says they MUST wear a mask in our showroom LOL
I agree with regional dietary habits. A lot of Iowans are overweight, many of whom are white.
