For those questioning Bo Jordan's wrestling schedule

Turns out Bo has a freakin recurring tumor in his foot he's tried to remove several times with several surgeries l...yet without compete success to this point.

The Columbus news interview yesterday actually showed Bo's foot and its tumor's location on his foot, and it appeared to be more on the front part of his foot, and more to to the ankle side.

I haven't questioned his schedule. The kid is a great wrestler, and clearly has to have an issue, even with Ryan as his Coach (relative to his schedule). Good luck to him.

I have questioned it before because Ryan has been known to protect seeds. However, I saw the pic of it and it's disgusting. He must have to wear flip flops the rest of the time. Tough kid from a phenomenal family. Good luck to him and I hope we see the best Bo.

This really sucks..Myself, I wish wrestling coaches would come out more with injury information or us fans have to learn to just keep our yaps shut about not wrestling..I was guilty on this with Bo also and dam feel bad about it now..Wish him the best same for Cory this is just one dam tough sport.

I agree with you, and you should see the abuse I take on this, for suggesting that Franklin be more transparent with his injury reports also in football. I prefer a professional approach, that is uniform, and informative, with catagories of doubtful, questionable, or out, to "the kremlin" approach that cloaks everyone in top secret silence. Just me, obviously, since everyone else sites HIPPA, or becomes engulfed with rage that someone suggests a different philosophy than their coach aspires to.

What happened across the landscape today, with seeding protection, was atrocious. The NCAA rules committee NEEDS to address this after Nationals IN TIME for next season with SOMETHING in place. Perhaps award a point for a win, but ignore the losses, in top 20 matches. Do SOMETHING though.

And sorry, I'm not all in on the Bojo excuse: He was fine the match BEFORE Hall, and two days after not wrestling Hall, he came out and pinned a kid, just fine. Foot just up and healed itself in two days I suppose.

My understanding is that his foot may never heal. That it is something he has to tough out each time he steps on the mat. Lots of pain and discomfort associated.

False. He did not wrestle the match after Hall. Hall was February 3rd, Ohio State wrestled Rutgers February 6th, and Bo did not go there. He didn't wrestle again until February 10th, when he majored Micah Barnes.
