The problem is that there is NO basis in fact for this speculation. It's like, well, suggesting that soon after Iowa beats USC in the Holiday Bowl, Kirk Ferentz will announce he's running for president of the United States and would quickly become the favorite in the Iowa caucuses. It will be interesting to see if Kirk strikes while the iron is hot.

It is pretty well know that in the past Jordan and members of his family talked about his transferring due to some things he was unhappy about in and around the program. Those comments were made quite some time ago so I don't think it is a concern anymore, but that is where these things have originated from.

There's a chance he grad transfers albeit a microscopic one but if you are Goodman why not throw it out there. I don't get what the problem is.
It's actually kind of a slap at Iowa. If he played for Duke they wouldn't be speculating on a graduate transfer.

I'm thinking that the NCAA won't touch this case, If he get surgery they have no choice but to grant him another year as he followed the rules.
On the other hand could you see the mayhem and uproar from Iowa faithful if Garza and Wieskamp leave after this year and Bohannan does opt to grad transfer....holy Schlitz....there would be a lot of drunk Hawkeye fans:rolleyes:

Not that well known... it’s never come up here to my knowledge - and most well known news usually surfaces here at some point, even if after the fact

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one out of the loop here. I’m sure there were several disgruntled players, parents, fans, coaches, etc a couple years ago, but Bohannon leaving I don’t recall.

I have never seen this even suggested.

I think KF is fine without politics.

The kid that left his skins on the Hilton floor with a taunting message is going to transfer? No. This is the dumbest and most groundless rumor ever started about an Iowa player since this site was created.
Agree. JBo obviously pays attention to online sentiment and admits he likes trolling. As in this case, maybe his silence is a form of trolling. I am sure he realized a long time ago is that it can be fun to screw around with people.

Yeah, not denying that it happened, but if so, I’d be interested to hear why (not that it matters anymore). He’s had a great opportunity at Iowa and always seemed like a Hawk through and through

It's entertaining to see people lose their sh!t over the mere speculation that a player might, possibly consider grad transferring.

"interesting to see whether he looks at grad transfer"

Now, I know nothing about Jeff Goodman. And I don't really have much interest in his opinion. But, just taken as written, that reads as a relatively innocuous statement.

I really don't remember these comments.

I would say that the Bohannon family has had a tremendous impact on both football(Dad, Gordy) and basketball at the University of Iowa. I would wish only that Jordan does what is best for his long-term health. We will always be proud to call him a Hawkeye!
