Two funeral services have been planned for a former University of Iowa quarterback that passed away suddenly last week.

I remember the first game he played. We made it to East Lansing once as students. It was widely thought uber talented Dan McGwire would start in the absence of the regular Chuck Hartlieb.

Out comes TP. He did well! I remember a long pass he threw so well Jim Morrow, I think, said he could have caught it with his teeth, lol.

Very surprising starter. I talked to him about that game. He was playing in the same national softball tournament in St Louis that I was.
