When you get down by 20pts within the first 5 minutes of a game, you probably don't belong. CMAC, Fredrick,and JBO looked like clowns in that game.
The loss to Oregon stands out because we thought we had a good team. WE had Similar losses to Gonzaga and Villanova. That Villanova squad that beat us was National Champion, but the Gonzaga squad didn't make the Elite8 if memory serves me. I think if you have a system based on Defense, that will show up every game and you might be able get lucky once in awhile and make the Sweet16.
And that’s really bullshit…if it’s a Conference tourney, all schools (if in “good standing”) need to be represented in the field.
That only helps for 1 year and pays Freeman salary. You need to win a bigger lottery or give moe.
