Fran Interview. He discusses JBo's Current Concussion Symptoms, the Transfer Portal, Tampering, NIL, & Next Year's Team

We learn a bit more about Margaret. When Joe Toussaint & Connor had surgery, they both stayed at the McCaffery's house and she fed them, make sure they were taking their medications & looked after them. Pretty cool.

Also, way back when Fran & Margaret were to get married, the first day coaches could be on the road was July 6. So when did Fran & Margaret get married? On July 4th, of course.

Jack McCaffery is just finishing up 8th grade. He is 6'7 1/2" in shoes.

Ulis (wrist surgery) won't be fully cleared to practice until approximately July 1.

Joe T (had surgery) right now is explosive as ever & playing pain free.

JBo had staples removed from his head the day before the 1st team workout. He practiced the first 2 days & has not practiced since. He's had concussion like symptoms. He's going to see some more doctors. Yikes!

yeah, staples removed from his head? he must have landed pretty hard, and?

i kinda wish Chad would have followed up a little bit when Fran said that

nevertheless, it just shows that if you punch someone and they land on concrete, you never know the damage done. I remember a case where a bouncer got sucker punched outside a bar and he was knocked out as he fell & hit his head on the curb. They had to remove part of his skull to remove the pressure on his brain. He will never be the same and he had to relearn how to talk, walk, etc. The guy who sucker punched him got into all sorts of legal trouble, too (imagine what that costs).

Teammate in high school was a really good defender, was absolutely shutting down the other teams star player. That guy got tired of it and sucker punched him on the way down the court. Went down hit his head on the floor and got a very bad concussion. That was his junior year, he was a stud shortstop and had to miss baseball, couldn’t play basketball his senior season, and had to wear some specialized sunglasses for baseball because he would still get bad headaches. Idk how long it took for him to get back to normal, as i lost touch after hs.

Good news regarding Josh. I'm really pleased that Keegan is getting "Talk" about being a first-rounder also. Good stuff.
