I think sometimes we forget what Fran has done at Iowa. Have I been critical before? Yes. It is frustrating that we haven't made a Sweet 16 or won a Big Ten title. But, Iowa's program was so down (the lowest in my 46 years). We make the NCAA nearly every year. He has coached some of the best Hawkeyes ever (Garza, Murray, White, JBo, Marble). He brought a fun style of basketball. I thought we would maybe make the NIT this year. Right now we are projected as a 6 seed. He does a lot with mostly 3 star players. I grew up in the Dr. Tom Era and our current program may be better.
