Who was the better college player?
Probably a loaded question on this board, but I would take Luka (but it would be a close call)....

I think Kaminsky was more versatile and better in the open court,.. Garza wins in the paint..
Agree with this. Frank had more natural agility and ball handling. If I remember right, he played point growing up and grew like half a foot one year. I give Frank the edge outside and Garza the edge down low but both can do both well.
When you only look at individual stats, sure, it’s Garza by a mile. The way both improved year to year was a credit to both guys’ work ethic. Said last year and saying it again, loved them both. And would take either. But the heights Frank took the Badgers to (I know, way better talent around him with Dekker, Jackson, Koenig, Hayes, Gasser et al), that’s why I take the Tank.
It's already been seen.Luka has had, by far, the better college career. Luka averaged more points and rebounds as a freshman that Kaminsky did for his career at Wisconsin. Unfortunately, I think Kaminsky might have the better pro career, but that remains to be seen.
Wisconsin had Sam dekker (NBA, 2nd team All Big), Ben Brust, Josh Gasser (All Big Defense), Traveon Jackson and Nigel Hayes (3rd team All Big): 3 seniors, a junior and a sophomore. I don’t think there’s any question that they had more college talent and they were a senior driven team. Your counting the Murrays as NBA draft picks is very misleading since one wasn’t a starter and the other didn’t play.Way better talent seems like a stretch when Luka had 2 (soon to be 3) NBA draft picks, including a top 5 selection, playing with him.
Ever notice how a lot of bad guys in movies and tv shows are named frank?
It's an interesting comparison. UW had experienced team that benefited from actually playing defense. Garza did play with another 2nd round draft pick (Wieskamp) and a guy who would be the #4 pick just 1 year later (Keeg. Murray). Speaks to the fact that Iowa probably should not have been run out of the gym by a 7 seed in the second round, but that's an argument us Iowa fans had a lot in the spring of 2021.Not a stretch Tyler. UW of Frank K’s era had way more talent than Garza ever had around him. As Mohawkeye aptly points out too, UW was more experienced and Counting the Murray brothers is misleading. Neither started with Garza and 1 of them wasn’t even playing.
nobody can top frank from shameless on the absolute worst human being alive list
