What we do know is that Roberson was not effective enough for them. He was a 4 star
and appears to have a bright future. What happened?
What happened is that Franklin didn't have the prudence and foresight to get him ready.
Prior to Saturday, Roberson had a total of 7 passing attempts for the season. That's despite
the fact that against Ball State, Villanova, and Indiana, they won by a total of 76 points.
As a result, Franklin probably ruined what could have been an exception season. Boohoo.
I've been talking about this same possibility with Iowa for over a year. I hope KF/BF now see
the risk.
