I was banned once. Emailed a mod and they told me what I did. It was dumb... I made a comment they thought was related to something else (it wasn’t, but I couldn’t prove it).

Anyway, I was told not to do it again and was unbanned.

I didn't realize it was him until a bit after that happened.

I think we try to give all of you pretty wide lanes to discuss things. One thing I have said since I started here full-time back in 2003 was we try to do the best we can and we also try to be as fair as possible. I've had liberals call me a conservative because I have banned them and conservatives call me a flaming socialists because I have banned them from posting. It's not perfect. Moderating a message board never will be. I have always said it's like being a cop, you can't catch everyone who is speeding. It's not done with political bias in mind either. Just be respectful to each other and you will be fine. I know that's a heavy lift these days and things can get heated, but intelligent people can have respectful discussions and at the end of the day simply agree to disagree.
