FYI-Tickets

seriously? That’s impressive for our women’s program if true
Yes. I bought women's season tickets yesterday. Two adults at the staff rate and 3 youth for only $280 - for the entire season. I'm splitting them with someone else so only $140 out of my pocket. Even if we only make it to 5 or 6 games that is a steal.

I’ve had wrestling tickets for decades….. that’s a deal too

Do you know how much it would be for men's season tix? I'm gonna go out on a limb and say they are quite a bit more

I actually bought season tickets for both men and womens b ball this year. Excited for both as both play exciting, wide open basketball.

I have 2 courtside seats for the women this year, but will probably only be able to make it to like 25% of the games due to scheduling conflicts with the team I coach...thought about getting for the men as well but just too many missed nights to make it worthwhile. You are right, though, lot of good offensive hoops to watch this year.

$365/ticket for adults, general public. Less if you're faculty/staff

Ah and women's are $125 for the public so about 1/3 the price. I'm guessing wrestling season tix still like $85 for the season? I guess somebody has to make some money to make up for the non revenue sports. People who talk shit about men's BB crowds VS the other teams are idiots considering how much more expensive tickets are

18 home basketball games, 8 home wrestling meets. Wonder why they cost more.

it's still nearly double the cost just for the ticket, but then also factor in parking / concessions / etc...

now those 10 more events really add up.
Not saying mbb doesn’t bring in more than wrestling, but i bet it’s not as big a difference as most would believe. Regardless, its the fb program supporting the whole athletics department.

Basketball has typically brought in 5-6 times what wrestling brings in according to past AD reports

The website i looked it up on has football revenue at 40mil, mbb around 5mil, wrestling -1mil. Every other sport is negative, mens and womens. So yeah a 5-6mil difference between the 2 programs. Total revenue for all athletics is 145mil, so that difference seems pretty small on that scale.

I paid 640 for 6 wrestling season tickets….little over 100 a seat I guess….. they went up this year….. our wrestling team is one of few that finish in the black from what I understand

I did the same thing :) 2nd year I've had both. It can get to be a lot if there are 3 or 4 home games in the same week.... hahaha. But it's a good problem

That website link is old, right? The black, gold, tip-off mini packages don’t match this year’s home games. Do you know if they still offered Mobile Pass this year? Thx
I have the mobile (Fight for Iowa) pass this year.

Cool, thanks. Have you liked it? Was it about $199/200?
Around that on price. The seats have generally been bad, typically Rows 35 and up and behind a basket. (had Row 15 for Michigan but was on vacation and couldn’t attend). Tickets have always arrived at least 24 hours in advance except for Monday game, which sometimes arrive on gameday (not sure there are any more Monday games). Might do again next year.

Figured out that based on the opponents, those mini passes mentioned on that website must be from the 2019-2020 season. Is that really a current Iowa Ticket Office webpage?

Anyone else notice Iowa is now scalping tickets on their website?
For men's basketball, there's now a link that says "only show platinum tickets.". When you click it, you'll see seats on the side within first 15 rows. $65 a ticket, depending on game.

That wasn't there a month ago so it's something new.
