FWIW, I think the very pro Iowa crowd was chanting Gabby's name at the end of the game. That's how it sounded on TV to me anyway.
If so, what an awesome conclusion to the game and tournament for her. Her defense was HUGE in the last few minutes and may very well have been the difference in the game.

Yes, the crowd was chanting her name, and then a huge roar when they accounted Syd was named to the all tournament team. She stuffed the stats, and was incredible the whole tourney.
Martin is the glue and Gabby is the vice clamps. Great defender.
GM has struggled in the regular season, but she has really regained her form late season and BIGC.

Not a 2nd blocked shot, she knocked a pass out of bounds. I think the announcers incorrectly called it a blocked shot. At least from my viewpoint.
That’s why she kept playing. LB has honestly done a masterful job of bringing this team along! And I mean sensational.

Gabby is the key to beating Colorado. If she can contain their point guard, good things will happen.
The great thing about the M&M girls is that they don't let offensive struggles, and there were plenty for both last night, impact the rest of their game.
Defense wins again. Can't say enough about Gabby's clutch play on defense and the Affolter driver that turned things back Iowa's way in a crucial moment. Beautiful stuff.
She was aggressive without being overly physical last night. Her tenacity seemed to carry over to her teammates.
