Thanks for posting this. It's long so I didn't get through it but Chuck Yagla calls in and asks Cable to explain how Kurdelmeier convinced him to come to Iowa. Cable repeats the question - "how Kurdelmeier convinced me? Yagla - "yes." Then Cable said "he never convinced me - he convinced my dad, my mom, my best friends . . ."

I haven't listened to the interview but there is an instrument called the cornet. It's like a trumpet.

Interesting in the interview he talked about his senior year in college and that he has just recently realized that in that year all summer, fall, and winter he though about beating the national champion a weight up, just to have a better goal. He said he realized he peeked a month too early in February, and then coasted.
