Bottom line is that there were no majorly intriguing matchups next Saturday, so they decided to think outside the box and do something different. On the surface it seems kinda silly, but maybe it will work out better than a lot of people think.

It would have been nice to have it in Iowa City, but I haven't watched the show in years (for more than 15-20 minutes), so I really don't care all that much. Iowa and Penn St have had some intense games over the years, and the exposure would have been nice, including the new Children's Hospital ritual, but I'm not going to get in a bind about it. It's exposure enough to have the game itself on ABC Primetime with Fowler/Herbstreit; now let's see if we can win it.
