He works 100 hour weeks, when is he supposed to find time to level up in DIV?
He 100% paid someone to play a POE 2 account, I've played a ton of early access and yeah... there's just no way he played that thing all the way to 97 in Hardcore.
But let's entertain the idea that he did play the POE 2 account the entire time.
That means we have two possibilities:
A billionaire who has been a part of high profile companies and projects is so vain that he pretends to be good at video games to seek approval of gamer dorks like myself.
or
He's spending so much time playing POE 2 that he is proving to everyone he does absolutely nothing in his businesses. There is not enough time in the day to get a character to 97 in hardcore and effectively do anything else in your life. It's like an 8-10 hour a day commitment minimum, that's assuming zero deaths since release of early access which just isn't a thing.
Either scenario is hilarious. Dude has stolen valor with video games, it's just so sad lol.

I don’t give a shit about someone’s game prowess, their dick size or their golf handicap either. But when people cheat at things like golf or games that don’t truly matter it should warn you about what they will do when real shit is on the line.
Musk is in a position of significant influence. If he cheats at Diablo what will he do with his newfound government influence?

When the story initially broke on Elon being a top Diablo player I immediately thought he was having someone gear and level up his account.
In the past I ended a good handful of D3 seasons near the top on leaderboards, if you took the obvious botters off the leaderboard I would have been top 10 in a few of them. The amount of hours it took me to do that was absolutely insane. Probably something like 8 to 16 hours a day of non stop grinding, and speed running for gear.
I think it is fantastic that he embarrassed himself like he did because it will make some gamers that were passive Elon fans understand that Elon is a liar and cheat.

So the Corvallis library is right across from the bus station/central park which is a big homeless hangout spot. They would use the library for all sorts of reasons, like bathroom, water, cool off, computers, which are all great reasons to use the library.
