Thats what I said about Keegan, stuck on the bench. We need his energy and just all he does contributing, to be on the court alot more. I have been a Nunge fan, but he brought nothing tonight. Even Patrick brought some energy as well tonight.
Most of them were his own misses though and at least two were off air ball drives that fell in his lap for layups. Wasn't like we were missing 3s and he was boxing out everyone by himself to get them.

What he should have been thinking was, hey I should come down with the rebound....and then go back up with it....and maybe I'll even draw a foul!!!
Instead, there were multiple times where he tried to tip the ball back in or didn't re-establish himself after the rebound and was way too off balance to finish.
No idea wtf his problem was tonight.
still good enough to win, but minny made 17-43 threes, 39.5% and it was only two guys that did that damage. Carr is good enough to get his shot off, the other guy johnson was 8/9 at three point line and at 6'8 didn't have any problems getting his 3pt shots off.
It is crazy that 2 Gophers made 14 of their 17 three pointers.
I wonder the last time Minny had a game where they made 15 or more 3 pointers....

They made 18 against Nebraska last year in their regular season finale. They also made 12 the first day of the B10 tourney, so they'd almost certainly have made 15 the next day vs Iowa had the game not got cancelled because it's Iowa.

Garza can normally hit some short jumpers or jump hooks, he really struggled to get many of his shots off cleanly. I also felt like he did not pass the ball well when the double and triple teams came calling. But other guys also have to step up. I thought we really tried to coast those last few minutes and they just wanted it more.
