I see he was 2 out of 3 3's. Played less than five minutes. My question is why isn't he playing more? Saying this without having watched a minute of his games.
I haven’t watched any time either, but his +/- is horrible in the only two box scores I looked at. -9 in five minutes tonight and -22 in thirteen minutes the last game. That can’t be all his fault, but not going to earn lots of minutes if that trend continues. I know a couple highlights I saw of him earlier this year showed him lost on defense.
If I remember correctly, he was a plus 10 in the other game and he was the ONLY Pistons with a positive number. I think you need to look at who he shares the court with when he is playing but I doubt that you would ever put that much effort into it since you haven't watched him play. I have to ask, have you ever said anything positive about him or Cook or Wheezie? My guess is not very often.
Well that escalated quickly. I admitted I hadn't watched. I also wish nothing but the best for Garza and all former Hawks.
If you look at the whole teams +/- they are all struggling. So i will take opposite position and say despite this, his minutes will increase through the year.
Says the man whose post trashed Garza on more than one level. If you wish them the best, you'd say so and you'd not be trashing them.
Nowhere did I thrash Garza. Take a step back. If you think I was attacking Garza, what exactly would you accuse yourself of, because that is a hell of a lot more aggressive than anything I said.
he has been called for 8 fouls in only 32 minutes of play this season which may limit his ability to play much, and this in an NBA season where fouls called are down significantly from the past.
