With all the crazy of nomination hearings and egg prices and air traffic collisions I thought it might be nice to point out that gas dropped .60 almost over night, 2 days ago it was $3.29+

What’s gas cost where you live?

Trump said he would drop energy costs by 50% with his "drill baby drill" initiatives. Gas should therefore be around $1.50 in the near future. Of course we know this is all bs very similar in scope to the outlandish claim by Trump in 2016 that Mexico would pay for his wall.

Noticed during the holidays when I was back in Iowa you guys were paying a bit more for gas. The cheapest I saw was in Ottumwa around 2.65

It hasn't been this expensive in central Iowa for awhile

I noticed when I go home to Ottumwa they have all that weird low octane stuff and all the corn ethanol stuff.... Sometimes I just want to go to a gas station and get gas

$2.79 here. It has hovered between $2.69 and $2.96 for at least the last 6-8 months.
Here in Jax... it's the cheapest now that I've seen it in quite some time at $2.75ish. The last 6-8 months the average has probably been around $3.15 a gallon. The under $3.00 is a welcome sight.

It's been above $3 in most of the larger cities. Other than the gas stations at the interstate, I can't remember the last time it was above $3 here. The lowest was $2.59 a few weeks after Labor Day.

Our prices did drop around the holidays, here but it was very short lived. The gas now is about as cheap as I've seen it since the pandemic.
