Pardon the interruption on your board, but KCCI in Des Moines reported Gavin Williams has a stress fracture in his leg and will be out for 3 weeks, no surgery required, and should be fine.

Some would say this might be karma for abandoning your SE Polk teammates and transferring to Dowling for your senior year.

Yeah because calling it "karma" that a HS kid got injured is a totally cool move.

**** you for taking pleasure in a kid getting injured. And **** SE Polk... they do the same thing to other schools taking their top athletes in other sports like wrestling and girls BB. To hear them now whining about it happening to them in FB is pathetically rich.

I'm sorry, but is Williams acting within the rules? Yes. Is your program at SE Polk making him a better person and player, the best person and player he can be? It's very common today, like it or not, to move on if a better opportunity exists. The portal is now a mainstream opportunity in college for crying out loud. From my perspective, either you change the rule...or get better than Wilson. If I was a kid today, I would want a shot at a title.

New initiative from Clown trolls: go to opposing team's forum, flame, then whine for mods to ban posters who respond.

I"m just reporting the news and like I said earlier, I wish no-one ill will, and have no vested interest in this. ISU is fine at running backs.

His decision to transfer for his senior year to win a state title was controversial, as I'm sure it would be if AJ Epenesa left for his last year to go to Alabama/Clemson/Etc to win a national championship.

Some would say that line of reasoning is BS.
But this probably helps keep Williams under the radar from some bigger schools coming in and trying to poach him.

Why would a Cyclone fan come to a Hawk board to celebrate, excuse me, “break news” on an Iowa recruit being injured? And hide behind “breaking news” while stating “karma” a 17 year old was injured. Is there something so vitriolic in your mind about Iowa that would prompt you from your Wall St job a time zone away to trumpet an injury to a 17 year kid? My God, you belong on CF pal.

Yikes. As long as he can start scoring TD's in Iowa City next year, that is all that matters.

Here’s something to keep in mind and that is nobody in this fan base gives a rip about what you think or your motives. You must not know that news is available in seconds in today’s society & with technology so you are not some news dynamo that you think you are. There’s no need to act like you are a concerned citizen and we don’t care about your depth chart either. Try posting on West Virginia’s, Kansas’s or Baylor’s site since they care more about your program.

Shocking when you come to another teams board and calling one of their recruits getting hurt karma because of all the awful things in the world he did was switch high schools. And yet you wonder why you are getting a poor response from people? Seriously what the F did you expect to hear after your 2nd part of your post with the the negative remark you threw in there? If you’d just reported the facts like your first paragraph and left it at that maybe you wouldn’t have been called out like you were and most would have thanked you for the info.

I'm with you. It's incredulous that fans of the collage program he committed to are disgusted with you for calling his injury "karma" because he transferred from your high school program to another.

Was it karma for Kempt that he got hurt last year since he attended 2 other schools before ISU?

It's a losing argument to celebrate a high school athlete getting inured because of a transfer.

Oh Governor, no one is celebrating, rather pointing out the irony of this injury, albeit a very minor one at that. It was a non-contact, non-season ending, non-career ending injury, out for a few weeks, probably won't miss any games and still win his state title. About as serious as me spraining or breaking a toe on some furniture and keeping me off the golf course for a few weeks. LOL

Still if I was Ferentz, I would pull the scholarship offer. A star player that led his team to the state playoffs semi-finals last year, transferring for his senior year to win a state title with 5 time defending state champions Dowling, exposes a character issue of "If you can't beat them, join them", and "Me First" over "Team First".

Some of you boys need to get out of your politically correct delicate sensibilities world and trying hanging out in new york city, where we tell it like it is. LOL

Since Campbell really wanted Williams as well, I’m assuming you would say the same thing if Williams actually picked the Cyclones over the Hawkeyes or switched his commitment to him?

This guy is the highest-level POS Clown. Exults in a HS kid getting injured because he chose Iowa instead of Clown College. Claims injury from being correctly labeled as a POS. Then puts an exclamation point on it by questioning kids character and saying Iowa should pull his scholly.
We could make a substantial list of kids who have been injured after they committed to Iowa and had their scholarship honored. Justin Britt and Michael Lois are the latest on that list.

Is this guy Paul Clark or Randy P?
