Following today's visit to Iowa City.

Cole was able to tour the facilities, which he said were probably the best he's seen so far, talk with the academic advisors, meet with the coaching staff, and watch practice.

The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Cole is listed as a cornerback in the database, but actually plays safety in high school and that's where Iowa and others project him in college as well.

Cole said the Hawkeyes have moved to the top of his list after today just because of the way coaching staff treated him and the academics at Iowa.

He's currently on his mini college tour with stops at Vanderbilt, Missouri, and Iowa now in the books and visits to Illinois and Indiana up next.

Right now, Cole is targeting a decision sometime this summer. Along with Iowa, he holds scholarship offers from Boston College and Wake Forest and said that Vanderbilt has told him they will be offering later this spring. Georgia Tech and Kansas State are also showing interest, but have not offered yet.
