This is meant to be an upbeat thread on these 2 Hawks (well 1 future Hawk). Question. If they went next week who wins and score? I would say Gilman 5-3. Just curious. Go Hawks!

They have went in the summer in the room. Lee gives him all he can handle...

You know better than me. Was just curious and trying to inject some good mojo after the last week with our present and future. Also Clark v Gavin. I know that may get ugly. Just curious.

Now...Clark by a major but I don't think Gavin (or at least I haven't heard of) has been in rolling around with our guys. Lee, along with Gilman, was helping Dan get ready for the Olympics this summer.

I heard that too Chief. I agree Clark would presumably hammer Gavin just wondering thoughts from the group. I don't post a lot but love Hawk wrestling. And want us back but as I just posted on another thread we have too many holes. I know that is obvious but trying to be positive with the young guns coming in (no pun intended).

Lee would be a little light in the shorts to handle the G-man. In a couple of years Lee wins. Teasdale will learn a bunch from Clark. Combine The G-mans aggression and Clarks mat skills. Gonna be a lot of experience passed down to both Lee and Gavin.
That is why they both chose the right college to wrestle at.

Lee and Suriano will be classic if they are at the same weight?

Does Clark have plans to stick around Iowa City after he's done?

Kind of my thought (well hope anyway!). Btw, good win Friday. Could be quite a barn burner come March. Without Stoll, Iowa is obviously a step behind Okie St and PSU, but should be fun nonetheless. Heck the Big 10's with another TG-NS, BS-DR and even a Nickal Brooks rematch would be great.

In his interview after his PSU match, he talked about what he needs to do to beat the best guys in the country and the best guys in the world. That's the first I've heard of him referring to international competition in an interview, but based on that comment, he's at least thinking about competing internationally, unless I misconstrued what he said -- which is entirely possible.
