I dont care if UCF is undefeated every year, until they play a reasonable schedule and beat a few ranked teams, they deserve nothing.

ND plays a good schedule, but the fact that they dont wim a conference championship but play a half conference schedule and miss the champ is BS. Now essentially 2 ACC teams may make it BECAUSE they don't play each other or include ND in the championship.

I wish the NCAA would take a game from each team and schedule it for them. One home game and one road game every two years.

Notre Dame doesn't hide from people. They will play anyone anywhere. If they go undefeated they should be in.

As of right now, no team has done anything to deserve being in the playoff. Alabama has a pretty good resume, though. 7-0, lead the nation in most meaningful offensive categories, most important being scoring offense, rank seventh in scoring defense. Until someone proves otherwise, they are clearly the best team in the country. There are 6 more chances for someone to do that. Which four teams do you think deserve to be there more than them?

they beat ball st vandy and pitt by an average of 6 points. that is weak.
and the only quality team they play is MI which was the 1st game of the year.....
their schedule SHOULD be more difficult, and they planned for it to be....but it's not. that is why the need to join a power 5 conf unless they want to be treated like all non power 5 teams!

they beat one top notch team this year, an mi team that look 100x better than they did in that game.

yeah, forgot about that. BUT if a week 1 loss doesn't matter, then why should a week 1 win matter much? the MI team they played is NOTHING like the team others are playing.
