James Franklin almost always tries to run the score up on his opponents..
you look at the box scores of his 5 wins...
the first one went to overtime against App State....
the last one was a 5 point game against Indiana because Franklin tried to run the score up and it almost backfired as they turned the ball over and didn't run the time off the clock...

the other 3 wins...
in the game against Kent State.. with the game well in hand... Franklin scores 14 forth quarter points...

against Pittsburgh... with the game well in hand... Franklin scores 21 forth quarter points...

against Illinois... Franklin scores 35 forth quarter points...

if you get away with it... it makes your team look better than what it actually is...

hopefully Penn State doesn't run up the score on Iowa...
but... also.... I can't help but think Penn State isn't the juggernaut many people portray them to be.
