Fitz has learned that when he doesn't obsess with Iowa all off season, his team may lose to Iowa but will have a better season overall.

Funny about us and the 'Cats, but really Iowa and NW fans should be much closer than we seem to be, since our programs are so much alike (maybe too alike is the problem). Been to NW twice to see a game against Iowa, NW fans always polite and classy, their team is unusually annoying and pesky when you play them--as they should be--and always win a couple of big games every season that 'shock' everybody, when really it should not be a shock when NW beats a Nebraska or Wisconsin or Michigan.
I'd much rather root for NW in the B10 compared to almost any other team. Think about it--would you rather root for Minny? Neb? Illiinois? OSU? MSU? Hell naw. Here's to the 'Cats winning out!

Atta boy DBQ, thanks. Remember, it's NU, not NW! ESPN always seems to get it wrong and some Nebraska fans are trying to lay claim to NU. Good luck in Lincoln, we will take care of bidness in Soldier Field.
Hey, the Cats keep winning, it makes Iowa look better, and if Iowa wins out, it makes the Cats look better, so Go Cats. I can't make myself hate Northwestern, mostly because they are a blue collar team like Iowa. Now Ohio State, I have no problems hating. They are like the little rich kid down the block who's parents give them anything they want.
I like that we both beat out the so-called front runner Wisconsin this year and finished 1-2 in the B1G West. Hope the pattern continues with Nebraska, today.
