I think common sense approaches always work best with this, as well as other substances. It can still be criminal to get behind the wheel or otherwise use MJ while in the direct responsibility of innocent bystanders; but outside of that, no one else is getting hurt or suffering any harm, so there should be no criminal offense.

Don't go to Vegas. The strip and Freemont constantly smell like weed and blunts everywhere in public. I don't give a shit but it's likely unforceable.

Rescheduling cannabis is a complicated process. President Joe Biden officially requested the shift in 2022, and it involves multiple agencies, including the US Drug Enforcement Administration and the US Department of Health and Human Services. The latter agency found “credible scientific support” for the use of cannabis in the treatment of certain conditions, including chronic pain.

It amazes me we can go to war in a matter of days/weeks, but can't move a plant off of a made up list in the same amount or less time? WTF?
