Good News McCarthy DROPS OUT !

Pepsi, right on cue. It's really a little too close to when the actual news came out to be true to form though! Anyway, it will be hard for anyone to be effective in the role as Speaker anyway when the lunatic fringe of the party is capable of holding the rest of the House, and the good faith of the country, hostage. They would rather do great harm to the country and their own party for their own misguided purposes than actually govern responsibly.
Boehner stepping down has already caused a lot of damage to the GOP. McCarthy has created a lot of problems. It helps that he is dropping out, but who do you replace him with? Not too many other candidates have much experience. And if the Republicans think they can elect a relative rookie to try dealing with the Dems and the Tea Party, they are in for a rude awakening. This could be a disaster.
The voters spoke this last election by sending the conservatives to the house and giving them the senate. Now use it because people are getting pissed off.
Something I read today, the writer says, "The Tea Partiers are very good disrupters, just not veryn effective at what comes after."
