Stoner metal/rock masters Electric Wizard. The album is a masterpiece. They are a bit doom too, but if you are into them just check out the sludge genre.

Steely Dan

Steely Dan and Gregg Allman are my go-to music for that genre. The old acid rock is too much for my old brain now. Have migrated to soft jazz and soft vocal. Stan Getz was a master sax. Breathed into the instrument rather than blew, like most others. Teamed with Gilbertos (Astrud Gilberto sang "The Girl From Ipanema") in the 50's and 60s to introduce Bossa Nova to the U.S..

The definitive stoner record. One song.

Sigur Ros
This Will Destroy You
Medeski, Martin & Wood
The True Loves

Oh...and Bob Marley, duh.

You need an ecclectic mix. Something like this.

Just put these guys in shuffle:

Frank Zappa
The Spinners
ZZ Top
Afroman
Neil Diamond
AC/DC
John Denver
Sublime
Tony Joe White
