The interim tag is officially off of Tracy Claeys and he has been given a three year contact by Minnesota to serve as the Gophers head football coach.
Three years seems like an odd number. Won't help them in recruiting. My sense is they are so dysfunctional right now operating without an AD and nowhere close to finding one that they just figured it was best to hire Claeys.
