Beyonce wins it, becoming the first black person to win that award. I bet lots of those racist country boys in the cult just hate that. Bonespurs going to conjure up an EO to erase it so a good old white boy/girl gets their "fair" recognition?
Wasn't a great album IMO and had nothing to do with her skin color--Hootie's crossover has gone very well. Heck, I thought Post's F1 Trillion album was miles better.Beyonce wins it, becoming the first black person to win that award. I bet lots of those racist country boys in the cult just hate that. Did y'all see Benson Boone adjust his crotch? Lordy Lordy...
She didn't deserve it.
Many other country albums came out that were better.
DEI!?! Let me guess? Morgan Walllen? She only got it because she was the first African American female to achieve #1 country album and win the award? I'm sure I'm close to your logic
Oh it's you, coming after me for no reason.
My opinion has absolutely nothing to do with DEI or anything close to it.
It's not a good album. Period.
She's incredibly talented, but not a good country musician.
I do NOT get the Morgan Wallen love. There are so many better male artists, Church, Stapleton, Combs, (Cody & Jamey) Johnson...DEI!?! Let me guess? Morgan Walllen? Ya, I don't get it. Not a fan of Jelly Roll's music, BUT he has a pretty compelling personal story, so I respect his journey. Only Zach Bryan song I know is his duet with Musgraves, I Remember Everything. As for Combs, I've always been a huge fan and the dude 100% kicked outside his coverage. And, FWIW, here's Tracy's comments about Fast Car:He spent 36 weeks at #1 in 2024. I don't care for him either. F Combs too. Fat F doing Fast Car. Also that Zach Bryan. Between him and.Jelly Roll are those the We Look Like We Don't Bathe Outlaws?

“I never expected to find myself on the country charts, but I’m honored to be there,” Chapman tells Billboard in an exclusive statement. “I’m happy for Luke and his success and grateful that new fans have found and embraced ‘Fast Car.’”
Without her permission, he's not allowed to do the cover, so it's not like he stole it.
I'm sure it's not for everyone and I will always prefer the original (and I like Luke's), but at the same time I often like remakes that bring a different flavor to the original; for example Metallica's Whiskey in the Jar and Disturbed's Land of Confusion. I love both of those versions.Yeah I just don't like it. Chapman did it better and it didn't need to be re-done. I especially hates that he works as a "check-out girl". So dumb.
I can't argue there and I love some Dragula, More Human than Human and 1965! Brings back great memories! For context, I also didn't like when Rob Zombie decided to re-make the original Halloween and re-write the ending. Stick to Dragula, dickhead!
That’s the case every year in every category. She didn't deserve it.
Many other country albums came out that were better.
At least he doesn’t hide his mental illness. I genuinely feel bad for him and hope he’s getting the help he needs.Speaking of Grammys:

Yeah... there are some aspects of hollywood/the limelight that are just NOT good.At least he doesn’t hide his mental illness. I genuinely feel bad for him and hope he’s getting the help he needs.

She doesn't sing country, she put a cowboy hat on and sang some hip-hop song and called country something or other. Her hubby bought the votes. It was a sham.I need to switch rocks. Evidently because of the one I was living under I didn't know Beyonce sang country.
Yeah. It kinda is.Country music died in the 90’s early 2000’s this pop music now days is not country music.
I call it the Rascal Flatts line of demarcation.Country music died in the 90’s early 2000’s this pop music now days is not country music.
