Says more about the coaches than anything. Anyone with half a brain cell knows you need fluids. At every Iowa practice there are coolers full of water and/or watered down Gatorade. Im sure every D1 program is the exact same. And I didn’t read the article past the first paragraph because I wasn’t gonna make an account to continue reading.

If you saw the video from this that has been shown, he is trying to get inside locked doors to get water. He was on the outside of a building, less than 15 feet from a non working drinking fountain when he went down and people tried to resuscitate. There most definitely will be criminal charges brought against the coaching staff. The University had to play dumb and dumber to avoid worse than the money settlement. Horrendously stupid in this day and age and the coaches should go to prison for negligence causing death.

This happened a couple years back and makes me sick. This kid died while suffering from severe dehydration as coaches and teammates insulted him while he begged for water. I wouldn’t feel bad at all about these coaches getting life, but I’m sure it won’t happen.
