I wish the audio had picked up what DeRozan was saying to him, I bet it was excellent trash talk.Hate him. Awesome W last night tho
Yup, someone who never played basketball on a playground is his life.I don't know of Allen's upbringing but he gives the ultimate vibe of a spoiled rich kid who never had consequences as a child.
You could have just said "attended Duke" and the rest would have been self-evident.I don't know of Allen's upbringing but he gives the ultimate vibe of a spoiled rich kid who never had consequences as a child.
There was acting on both sides.
DeRozan flew a lot further than expected from that weak shove. You could see him pause and give an extra little bit of boost to that dive.I don’t like Allen but that seemed pretty tame compared to some of his other BS.
Casual derpHow pathetic the game has become.
Agreed. I'm not a fan of his, but he was pushed and stumbled into Derozen, maybe exagerated it. You guys should see the stuff that goes on in 3rd grade girls basketball. They should be wearing football pads. Thugs no defense. Was that really that bad though, he obviously was pushed, gave a little extra, but I have seen much worse. His reputation is definitely preceding him here.
Yeah, it wasn't particularly dirty or cheap, just stupid. He plays stupid and acts like a bitch.I don’t like Allen but that seemed pretty tame compared to some of his other BS.
I agree. He’s a punk, for sure.Yeah, it wasn't dirty or cheap, just stupid. He plays stupid and acts like a bitch.
It wasn't much, but, it goes to a pattern. And, Williams pushed him a little, but Allen is a grown man who plays a sport for a living. The continuation he made into DeRozan was clearly intentional. That's what it usually is with Allen. A continuation, a casual move into another player with a jab, and then he stands there with a bewildered look on his face wondering why someone is mad at him?I don’t like Allen but that seemed pretty tame compared to some of his other BS.
I scarcely watch basketball outside the playoffs, but every time I see that dude he’s busy reinforcing his reputation. Was that really that bad though, he obviously was pushed, gave a little extra, but I have seen much worse. His reputation is definitely preceding him here.
He seems like the kind of bitch that would flick your nuts when the ref isn't looking. I'd actually like to see some big dude just punch his ass out one night. Would be worth the fine and suspension, IMO.It wasn't much, but, it goes to a pattern. And, Williams pushed him a little, but Allen is a grown man who plays a sport for a living. Best version of that is when people refer to USC as the University of Spoiled Children. You could have just said "attended Duke" and the rest would have been self-evident.
He was despised by other ACC fans - the Doosh from Duke.I don't know of Allen's upbringing but he gives the ultimate vibe of a spoiled rich kid who never had consequences as a child.
I could say the same thing about youI scarcely watch basketball outside the playoffs, but every time I see that dude he’s busy reinforcing his reputation.
Did you read the latest from the NYTimes?I could say the same thing about you
I will believe it if they actually repair them, if so the pipeline could be viewed as merely collateral damage for short term benefit. The rest of the evidence continues to point towards Russia and no one else. You still don't have any smoking gun anyone else did it.Did you read the latest from the NYTimes?
They’re having trouble making any sense out of the idea Russia blew up their own pipelines:
…In recent weeks, Nord Stream AG, which is majority-owned by a Kremlin-controlled company, has begun pricing out the cost to repair the pipe and restore gas flow, according to a person briefed on the work who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak about it publicly. One repair estimate starts at about $500 million, the person said. Consultants for Russia are also studying how long the damaged pipes can withstand saltwater exposure. The inquiries raise the question of why, if Russia bombed its own pipelines, it would begin the expensive work of repairing them.
…
The explosion does not neatly benefit Russia. It must keep paying transit fees to Ukraine, it cannot easily use the promise of cheap gas to cleave Germany from its European allies, and it faces hefty repair costs.
He was despised by other ACC fans - the Doosh from Duke.
People were sure he’d get flattened in the NBA. 🤬
Noted.I will believe it if they actually repair them,
Even the NYTimes was having trouble coming up with the ‘benefit’ to Russia that removing energy supply leverage on Western Europe provides.if so the pipeline could be viewed as merely collateral damage for short term benefit.
I said at the outset I don’t expect a smoking gun. Swedes throwing the national security cloak over the investigation and keeping the Germans out sort of sealed that. The rest of the evidence continues to point towards Russia and no one else. You still don't have any smoking gun anyone else did it.
Noted.

What’s the actual benefit you see?
Stack up all the suspects and who wants to see the pipeline remain more than the Russians?
I see them with the most motive to keep it in place, ready to deliver energy and help leverage an end to the sanctions, and the least motive to see it wrecked and their ability to sell gas through it cut off.

Best we can hope for are revelations in memoirs written a few decades from now. Someone will brag about it eventually.
Have you not seen NBA players throw punches? It’s a train wreck when they try. I would not be one bit worried about a big dude in the NBA trying to punch anything outHe seems like the kind of bitch that would flick your nuts when the ref isn't looking. The Magic/Pistons kerfluffle looked like a good time.Have you not seen NBA players throw punches? It’s a train wreck when they try. I would not be one bit worried about a big dude in the NBA trying to punch anything out
Allen was the dirtiest, easily.Who is worst:
Laettner
Allen
Redick
Not dirty or cheap this time.....Yeah, it wasn't particularly dirty or cheap, just stupid. He plays stupid and acts like a bitch.
Pretty obvious flagrant. Wonder how many he has so far in the NBA. If a clear pattern emerges with crap like this I think you have to look at a long suspension... season or more.Allen will never be forgiven for pulling Caruso down backwards in mid-air on breakaway layup that ended with Caruso breaking his wrist and losing several months of last season.
The Bulls have never properly repaid Allen for that altho Tristan Thompson did try.
Only current league player that I want injured..bone sticking out injured...eye for an eye.
Draymond Green kicked Steve Adams in the nuts twice.
