The hawks looked terrible the first 10 minutes maybe more. They looked disinterested and not into the game. Totally flat footed on defense with no hustle. somewhere about the first 8 minute mark Kris M made just a very lazy pass in the iowa forecourt along the sideline that was easily picked and turned into a 3 on one easy layup.
I turned it off for awhile but get an eye on the espn score.
Turned it back on for the 2nd half and what a different team. I had heard that IU was fresh with being their 1st game in 13 days while Iowa was on their 5th game and just returned from a road trip. Not sure how that kind of scheduling happens but it might explain a bit of the first 10 minutes of that game.
Anyway, the hawks started making buckets and free throws and starting defending. Just a great win.
